This item requires delivery via common carrier due to the size of the product, which means a truck freight company will be delivering this item. To provide a higher level of service the shipper will work with you directly to arrange for a time and date of delivery. You may not receive tracking of this order prior to delivery arrangements being made.
The common carrier drivers bring your purchase to your delivery address for curbside delivery. Due to a variety of freight delivery rules, the driver may not bring the shipment into your home or up any stairs. Drivers are expected to notify you of a delivery time and day and your delivery service options, so you can have the appropriate help available to get purchases into your home if necessary.
We expect our common carriers to be friendly, timely, and safe. Our primary goal is to have your purchase arrive as quickly as possible and in excellent condition. The most important thing to remember about truck freight is that you MUST inspect the package at the time of delivery. If the box has any damage, or if there is any reason for you to be at all concerned about damage, please write "PRODUCT DAMAGED" clearly on the sheet that they ask you to sign. This simply insures that if there is any damage, it will be easy to take care of the problem.
If you are ordering a very large item, please keep in mind that you may need a couple of people to help unload it depending on the level of delivery service. Alternatively, most truck freight companies offer additional services to help you move items from the truck into your house, this is not included in your shipping charges. You can work with the shipper directly to arrange for any additional delivery services that you would like to take advantage of. You will be responsible for directly paying the truck freight carrier for these additional services.
Canada & International Orders
RK Stairs.biz does offer shipping to Canada and other countries outside the U.S. *EXTRA SHIPPING CHARGE WILL BE ADDED at the time of shipping. However, you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance are the responsibility of the recipient. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; please contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, when ordering from RK Stairs.biz, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.

Terms and Condition of Sale
Returns and Cancellations:
If you are not satisied with your purchase within 15 days of receipt, we will replace the item or provide a credit for the full purchase amount less any shipping and restocking charges. A "Return Goods Authorization Number (RGA #)" is required on all items return. Products without a RGA # will be refused. Please note that there is a 35% restocking charge on all items return. All returns of non-defective goods must be in new resalable condition, shipped pepaid. Any parts having been altered or otherwise modified may not be return. Returns are limited to 15 days on stock merchandise.
Special orders or non-standard products are not subject to return or cancellation if special raw materials purchase and/or production has been initiated.
Limited Warranty:
All Produts sold by RK Stairs are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of shipment. All products will be exchanged or a credit issued if found to be defective by RK Stairs. No merchandise will be returned with-out prior approval of officials at RK Stairs. Improper use of products eliminates all liability RK Stairs of any and all warranties or responsibilities for safety performance either expressed or implied. In compliance with the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act of 1975. A complete warranty statement is available to all consumers.

RK STAIRS is not reponsible for installation, installation instructions or any costs for installation.
RK STAIRS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CHANGE PRICES AT ANY TIME.
CUSTOM ORDERS-PAYMENTS
We accepts checks by mail, and money orders.
50% Deposit is required on all custom ordered products with the balance due at the time of shipping.
Freight Terms:
In stock stair parts are shipped from are supplier in Long Beach, California, USA. Freight charges will be prepaid by RK Stairs, if for any reason the customer cancels order after its been shipped and in transit the customer is responsible to repay all freight charges for their cancel order.
Claims:
Claims for shortages, breakage, or damage must be made directly with the transportation company. Claims for shortages must be made within one (1) day after shipment is received. Customer must count and inspect items inside boxes at time before signing received slip from transportation company. Customer is responsible for verifying shipment quantity.
